GREEN BAY, Wis. – Even after reaching the NFC Championship Game last season, the Green Bay Packers were considered long shots to win this year’s Super Bowl.

Not anymore.

On the eve of the NFL’s divisional playoffs, BetMGM has the Packers at +400 to win the Lombardi Trophy. That’s second only to the Kansas City Chiefs at +220. Of the eight teams alive in the playoffs, the Packers and the Browns had the longest odds entering the season.

From BetMGM’s John Ewing, here are the Super Bowl championship prices for the remaining teams from the start of the season to today:

• Chiefs open +650, now +220

• Packers open +3500, now +400

• Saints open +1200, now +550

• Bills open +2500, now +600

• Ravens open +750, now +800

• Bucs open +1600, now +900

• Rams open +2500, now +2200

• Browns open +3500, now +2500

“Green Bay has the second-highest ticket percentage to win the Super Bowl at 10.0 percent and the third-highest handle percentage to win the Super Bowl at 7.5 percent,” Ewing said. “While we are taking a lot of action on the Packers to win it all and have adjusted their odds from an opener of +3500, Green Bay winning it all would still be a win for BetMGM. The Bucs and Chiefs are the sportsbook’s biggest liabilities.”

Chiefs vs. Packers – the two teams to earn first-round byes – is considered the most likely matchup at +310.

The Super Bowl MVP market is led by Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes at +350 and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers at +525. Green Bay receiver Davante Adams is ninth at +2800.
