NFC Power Rankings - Week 16

A look at where each team sits heading into Week 16.

Every week, All Panthers publisher Schuyler Callihan will release a fresh set of NFC Power Rankings. Here is how he views the conference after 15 weeks of play.

This week's rankings (last week's rank if changed)

16. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers...won a game??? What in the...is this right?

15. Arizona Cardinals

Arizona's offense came to play against the Niners. The defense? Not so much.

14. Washington Commanders

The end is near for Ron Rivera in Washington.

13. Chicago Bears

How many one-score games are the Bears going to lose this season? My goodness.

12. New York Giants

Tommy DeVito's run comes to an end in New Orleans. Maybe he'll get back in the win column next week against the reeling Eagles.

11. Atlanta Falcons (10)

The worst loss to the weekend goes to the Atlanta Falcons. Regardless of the conditions, the Panthers had no business winning that game. Is Arthur Smith's seat warming?

10. Green Bay Packers (5)

This seems like a dramatic drop in the rankings, but this cluster of teams from 6-10 are really close. They can surge back up with a couple of wins.

9. New Orleans Saints (11)

The Saints are the definition of an average football team. However, they did take care of business beating the Giants comfortably.

8. Minnesota Vikings

Kevin O'Connell deserves a ton of credit for keeping this team competitive despite the rotating door at quarterback. A tough loss in overtime to Cincinnati.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9)

A very impressive win for the Bucs in Green Bay winning by two scores. These next two games are huge for Tampa.

6. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have won four of their last five with the only loss coming to Baltimore in overtime. Don't sleep on L.A. making a run.

5. Seattle Seahawks (7)

Drew Lock taking down Jalen Hurts? Woah.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (3)

Hurts wasn't 100% but still, the Eagles are in desperate need of a win.

3. Dallas Cowboys (2)

Just when I started believing in the Cowboys, they get smacked. Seems typical.

2. Detroit Lions (4)

Jared Goff with the performance of the week in the Lions' beatdown of Denver.

1. San Francisco 49ers

No sweat for San Fran this week.
