NFC Power Rankings - Week 18

A look at where each team sits heading into Week 18.

Every week, All Panthers publisher Schuyler Callihan will release a fresh set of NFC Power Rankings. Here is how he views the conference after 17 weeks of play.

This week's rankings (last week's rank if changed)

16. Carolina Panthers

15. Washington Commanders (14)

Right now, the Commanders aren't much better than the team mentioned above.

14. Arizona Cardinals (15)

For a team that's only won a handful of games, they have quite the resume. Wins over Dallas, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia - each with a chance at playing in the postseason.

13. New York Giants

The Giants mini fun run is over and reality has set in. They need a quarterback.

12. Minnesota Vikings (8)

Minnesota needs Kirk Cousins on the field, not leading the Skol chant.

11. Atlanta Falcons (10)

Arthur Smith's seat is warming. A 20-point loss to Chicago? Really?

10. Chicago Bears (12)

Justin Fields had himself a day, presumably building his resume for the other 31 teams in the league.

9. New Orleans Saints (11)

I'll admit, I didn't see the Saints beat Tampa. Good win for New Orleans to stay alive entering Week 18.

8. Seattle Seahawks (5)

I can't quite figure out this team, man. Seattle has the talent to be a top four or five team in the NFC but then they lose games to Mason Rudolph and make you question everything.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I'm sure Tampa is upset they didn't get the W over New Orleans, but with Carolina on deck, I think they'll get over it pretty quick.

6. Green Bay Packers (9)

Dominant performance by the Packers, remaining in the mix heading into the final week of the regular season.

5. Los Angeles Rams (6)

Winners of six of their last seven with the only loss coming to Baltimore in OT. What a surge by L.A.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (3)

What is going on? Losing to the Cardinals? Oh boy.

3. Dallas Cowboys (4)

No, Dallas. I'm not moving you ahead of the Lions.

2. Detroit Lions (1)

Detroit got screwed.

1. San Francisco 49ers (2)

I feel bad even moving Detroit out of the top spot, but the Niners do feel like the best team in the NFC right now.
