REPORT: Panthers, Jets to Hold Joint Practices

Fans will get to see Aaron Rodgers with his new team up close in the preseason.

Carolina Panthers fans will have an opportunity to see Aaron Rodgers more than once this fall.

According to Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer, the Panthers and Jets will hold a pair of joint practices at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC ahead of their preseason game at Bank of America Stadium on August 12th.

A couple of weeks ago, head coach Frank Reich mentioned that they were hoping to get one team to agree to do joint practices, potentially two.

“Yeah, if it’s right. If it’s right for both teams," Reich said. "You always would like to, but it doesn’t always work out. Some years we’ve had it and it’s been great. Other years, we haven’t had it and it’s been just as good. Sometimes you go two practices, sometimes you might just go one—depending on what the schedules look like. So, keeping all those options open.”
