Panthers Won't Be Having Dinner with Anthony Richardson Ahead of Pro Day

Latest on the Panthers' QB tour.

Prior to the Pro Days of C.J. Stroud (Ohio State), Bryce Young (Alabama), and Will Levis (Kentucky) the Carolina Panthers met with each of the quarterbacks for a dinner to further get to know the prospect more as a person while also continuing to talk football.

Anthony Richardson is set to throw Thursday at Florida's Pro Day, but unlike his fellow QB classmates, he won't be having dinner with the Panthers the night before. This isn't because they aren't as interested in the Florida quarterback. In fact, head coach Frank Reich spoke glowingly about him on Tuesday. Much of Carolina's staff/front office will be making its way back east from Arizona, where they spent the last couple of days at the league meetings. According to Joe Person of The Athletic, the Panthers will spend some time with Richardson throughout the day.

In twelve starts this past season, Richardson threw for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also rushed for 654 yards and nine scores on 103 rushing attempts.
