A Big Piece Nearing a Return to Action for the Panthers

In this story:
The offensive line was expected to be one of the strengths of the Carolina Panthers in 2023 and instead, it's turned out to be one of its weaknesses through the first six games of the season.
Much of that though is due to not having starting guards Brady Christensen and Austin Corbett available. Christensen suffered a bicep injury in the season opener and although he finished the game, he was ruled out of the remainder of the year after further evaluation. Corbett, as you well know, has been steadily working his way back from a torn ACL that occurred in the regular season finale in New Orleans last year.
Corbett was cleared to return to practice earlier this month and is scheduled to come off the PUP list this week. If the Panthers do not activate him, he will be placed on injured reserve.
Everything seems to be trending in the right direction for Corbett, so he should be activated in a matter of days. The real mystery is whether or not he will be active on gameday this Sunday against the Houston Texans. If there is the slightest bit of concern, Carolina could make him a "healthy" scratch on Sunday and delay his return by one more week.
