Cam Newton Gives Opinion on Who the Panthers Should Draft at No. 1

In this story:
Who will the Carolina Panthers take with the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft? Well, the only other first-overall pick in the organization's history, Cam Newton, has an opinion.
Here's who he said he would take during a recent episode of Cam Newton's Take on YouTube.
"All roads and all fingers are pointing to Bryce Young. You would probably say, why not C.J. Stroud? You would probably say, why not Anthony Richardson? My only knock on Bryce Young is that he went to Alabama. If I'm the GM, if I'm the head coach, if I'm David Tepper, I'm selecting Bryce Young. We all know the upside. We all know he has an incredible arm. And this is how I judge quarterbacks. Everybody can throw. Everybody has talent. Everybody has upside. Everybody has intangibles. But the thing that everybody doesn't have and it's simple, is leadership and can you get a motherf***** to follow you? Bryce Young is your number one pick."
Later this evening, the Panthers will officially make the pick and have a new face of the franchise at quarterback. Will it be Bryce Young? It certainly seems like it.
