Panthers Waive a Corner, Sign Another

In this story:
The Carolina Panthers announced that they have made a roster move in the secondary Friday afternoon signing free agent cornerback Mac McCain, who worked out for the team after today's practice. To make room for McCain on the 90-man roster, the Panthers waived cornerback Colby Richardson.
Richardson signed with the team as an undrafted free agent this past spring.
As for McCain, he's played in two career games, both with the Eagles, but has also had stints on the practice squads of the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions. The Greensboro, NC native stayed home to play his college ball, strapping up for North Carolina A&T from 2017-20.
