Panthers' Young Core Feels the Lack of Respect

In this story:
Over the last few years, the perception around the league of the Carolina Panthers is not a strong one. It's a team that has had a revolving door at quarterback, fired two coaches in the last four years, and has failed to reach the playoffs since 2017.
Even with the coaching change and Bryce Young now taking over the reins at quarterback, very few around the league believe the Panthers will be competing for a playoff spot in 2023.
Two pieces of the Panthers' young core, DL Derrick Brown and CB Jaycee Horn, see and hear that lack of respect and are ready to be a part of changing the narrative
"We want to win,' Brown told reporters upon arriving at training camp. "I don't think very many people give us a chance at the beginning of the year to do much of anything. We're going to go out here and prove folks wrong. Like they say about snakes, it won't bite you until you see it. We've got every opportunity above us right now."
"I feel like since I came into the league and going into games, y'all know I talk a lot of junk...I feel like we don't have a lot of respect in this organization right now," Horn said. "I feel like going into year three, I'm just so focused on the team, us winning, and us getting our respect around this league. We ain't been winning a lot of games. To turn it around we gotta win games."
