Donte Jackson's status

"Fully cleared. A guy like Donte, just coming off of the Achilles, he may manage how we bring him along at the beginning just to make sure he's in shape but he's full-go."

Brian Burns contract talks

"Those will be ongoing conversations. There's no timeline to it. They've been good conversations. He's represented by a great agent and it's not like we have to say, hey listen, it has to be done by this time or that time. We'll just keep talking. And when the time's right and we make a deal where it's right for him, right for us, that'd be great. He's a big part of our organization. We love having Brian around. He's really grown as a leader. He's matured. He's just one of those guys you love being around."

The team's pass rush

"We like it, but we always need to add more. You can never have enough pass rush. So if there's a pass rusher out there that upgrades our roster, we're going to pursue that. That's just our style. We're aggressive and we're always looking to add."

Value of running backs around the league

"We obviously still value the running back. In Frank's offense, the running back is a very important position. Not just a guy that can run the ball, but that catch the ball. Couple that with a rookie quarterback, you really need a good running back. We feel like we have three that can really support our quarterback. We still value the running back position."

Plan for Bryce Young in preseason

"I think he needs those reps. We're not going to put him out there before he's ready. I'll let Frank decide that with Josh [McCown] and Thomas Brown when's the right time. If it's the Jets game, it'll be that game. If it's Week 2, he'll get those reps. He needs those reps just like Matt Corral is going to need those reps. Andy Dalton is probably the one guy that doesn't need the reps as much, but I would expect the two young guys to get a lot of reps this preseason."
