What needs to be addressed with the offensive line

"The desire is there. The will is there. They've been really consistent. Had a somewhat off day. I wouldn't say overall it was all bad. There was some good combination work, some good fit from a pass protection standpoint. The detail, not just with that spot but every single spot has improved overall."

What they are looking for when evaluating QB Matt Corral

"The overall operation. The execution to detail. Everything from a small minute factor of how we get into a huddle, communicating personnel, going through the snap count, to the overall execution of every single play, going through our checks. He's done a really good job for the most part of that. From the first time we got here, it was a lot of wristband work to now he can operate off of that, clearly communicate the playbook, and also do a really good job as far as operating down in and down out."

How Bryce Young still impresses him

"Every day, I would say there's two to three highlight plays. Whether it be pocket movement, throwing off balance. Whether it be the scout of what our defense is doing from a pass protection standpoint and how he gets us into the right looks to how he handles the overall pressure. It's rare for a guy his age because he's a young dude for sure but he acts like he's 45."

Injury update on Andy Dalton

"He had a little small back tightness yesterday, so nothing to really worry about from an evaluation standpoint. Just giving it some time to rest up from that."

Calling some plays during preseason games

"It's been phenomenal to be around him [Frank Reich] from day one. And every day, we continue to grow closer together, continue to have great communication, and continue to be on the same page as far as the overall goals. As far as how a game is called, I think your personality kind of shows when it comes to being a playcaller. It's definitely going to be the same system, the same call sheet, but when you actually activate it's sometimes more so personality driven. Being able to have that opportunity is great for my development, but as well so we can be on the same page."
