The Seahawks surprisingly moved on from longtime head coach Pete Carroll last week and are just now beginning to request permission to speak with candidates.
Carolina's defense ranked third in the league in yards allowed (298.1) and third in passing defense (175.1 ypg) in their lone season with Evero running the show.
Evero is also being considered for the head coaching job in Atlanta and Carolina.
