Panthers Make First Roster Move of Training Camp

In this story:
Wednesday evening, the Carolina Panthers announced that they have waived wide receiver Marquez Stevenson, dropping the roster to 89.
Stevenson signed with the Panthers back in mid-May after spending time with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns.
The former 2021 sixth-round selection only appeared in six offensive snaps with the Bills but was, however, afforded an opportunity on special teams returning 14 punts for 132 yards and seven kicks for 165 yards.
The remaining wide receivers on the Panthers' roster: Damiere Byrd, DJ Chark,,Gary Jennings, Terrace Marshall Jr., Jonathan Mingo, CJ Saunders, Laviska Shenault Jr., Shi Smith, Adam Thielen, Josh Vann, Derek Wright
