Report: OL Brian Schwenke placed on reserve/retired list

The utility offensive lineman will be be watching from afar for training camp.

New England Patriots offensive lineman Brian Schwenke has been placed on the reserve/retired list, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. 

Veteran C/G Brian Schwenke has been placed on the reserve/retired list. Schwenke had been running with the first unit at left guard in spring practices.

Schwenke is the 3rd offensive lineman we have heard will be unavailable for at least the beginning of the Patriots' training camp. The other two were Cole Croston (PUP) and Yodny Cajuste (NFI). 

This move may trigger another free agent signing, as the team is now in desperate need of some offensive line depth.
