For New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, being in the league for 19 years has filled him with a ton of experience, the same experience that has helped lead his team to six Super Bowl championships. And with all the winning and accolades he has garnered over the years, he still finds the drive to play into his 40s even though he has succeeded even the wildest of expectations since coming into the league. Why?

Well, according to Brady, it's too easy for him nowadays, which makes walking away from the game that much harder.

“I just think he’s thrilled to be playing and thrilled to be out there,” former NFL kicker Jay Feely told The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin regarding why Brady continues to play into his 40s. "He’s at the point where he can just go have fun.

"And he did say to me this offseason one time, ‘It’s easy for me now. I’ve seen what every defensive coordinator can throw at me, I know the answers to the test before I take it. So why would I want to not play if my body’s going to let me? Because it’s easy now, compared to those first 10 years.’ “

Feely and Brady were teammates at Michigan and have maintained their friendship since then, so Feely's word can be taken strongly in regards to Brady.

It's very telling as to why Brady can't walk away from the game. His knowledge of the game is so strong after nearly two decades of play that he wants to take advantage of it and surpass as many milestones and records as he can before he calls it a career. If that's the case, then buckle up, because it may be a while before Brady calls it quits.
