Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, Demaryius Thomas register catches in Patriots' preseason finale

The New England Patriots' preseason finale vs. the New York Giants Thursday night was an opportunity for three of New England's top receivers to get their first game action of 2019.
Julian Edelman played in the first offensive series of the game, and recorded one catch for 20 yards before exiting the game.
Josh Gordon played five series and Demaryius Thomas played in six. Gordon caught two passes on six targets for 30 yards. Thomas had an unbelievable night, recording seven catches on eight targets for 87 yards and two touchdowns. All of their targets came from rookie QB Jarrett Stidham.

Edelman was flexing his left hand after his lone reception, the same hand that he broke his thumb on back in July that forced him to miss the start of training camp and the preseason. He appears to be fine on the sideline, which is good news.
