Dontrelle Inman says repetition is what makes Patriots great

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Having the greatest head coach and quarterback of all-time can help win many football games along with earning the pedigree as the greatest franchise in the NFL. But what exactly do Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, along with the remainder of the New England Patriots coaching staff and players do that gives them the leg up on the 31 other teams in the league?

While giving a hand at Connor Shaw's annual football camp, ABC Columbia's Mike Gillespie asked Patriots wideout Dontrelle Inman why he thinks New England has been the greatest franchise over the past two decades.

"Everything matters," Inman said. "Everybody says it, everybody does it. But with this organization, everything matters. There isn't a scenario that you won't practice before doing it in a game. That's what makes the game easier because you've experienced every single thing in practice, you've experienced every single thing in meeting rooms.

"You've seen everything. And it's not like you've seen everything once, it's a grind, it's repetition, repetition, repetition is what makes habits, and habits are what make great players and can be accountable from that."

This isn't the first time we've heard about the Patriots being prepared for any scenario. Heading up to Super Bowl XLIX New England's defense studied Seattle's red-zone offense and knew the eventual pass play that led to Malcolm Butler's interception would come. Butler read that play so well because he had seen it during practice multiple times, and when it finally happened live he knew exactly where to be to make the play.

Inman's comments just highlight that Belichick and the coaching staff continue to keep their players informed and well prepared for any scenario that can take place during a game.
