Report: Patriots Plan on Signing Kicker Mike Nugent

The New England Patriots have reportedly found their new kicker. The organization plans on signing veteran kicker Mike Nugent, according to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter.

Nugent has been in and out of the NFL since 2005. He most recently played for the Oakland Raiders in 2018 and was their kicker for three games. He has a career field goal percentage of 81.4 (78-of-102).
In addition to Nugent, Schefter also reported that the Patriots plan on adding Younghoe Koo, formerly of the Los Angeles Chargers, to their practice squad.
In addition to signing veteran kicker Mike Nugent to their roster, the Patriots also are expected to sign former Chargers’ kicker Younghoe Koo to their practice squad, per source.
