The roller coaster is over. Brown has been the culprit of multiple distractions and potential law-breaking antics that have surface during his very short stint in New England, ranging from sexual assault, unpaid debts, and theft.
The Patriots now release the 31 year old, which voids his 1-year, $15 million signing bonus and $9 million signing bonus.
New England released a statement in regards to Brown. Henry McKenna of the PatriotsWire shared the message.
Patriots release a statement on the release of Antonio Brown: “The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”
