Report: Rob Gronkowski hasn't lifted since retiring, feels like a 'different guy'

Rob Gronkowski has done his due diligence on social media of trolling his potential return to football after retiring from the NFL back in February. He openly admitted that he wasn't sure how he'd feel when the 2019 season was underway and said he might not know what to do with himself when August comes and he's not on the football field.
According to Scott Zolak of 98.5 The Sports Hub, Gronkowski's current workout regimen, or lack thereof, may hint at why his return may not be so imminent.
Zolak said on Monday's edition of "Zolak and Bertrand" that he recently spoke to Gronkowski's girlfriend, Camille Kostek, about the retired tight end and what his workouts consist of nowadays.
"I talked to his girlfriend, Camille Kostek, down at that cheerleading thing. He hasn't lifted anymore," Zolak said. "And it's not like he hasn't lifted since he retired. She goes, 'He has not been putting weight on his back for a while now.' He's been doing the band training, and he feels like a different guy."
The comments by Zolak are very telling. If Gronkowski even thought about potentially returning to football, one would think he would be lifting and keeping on his weight so he would be at the very least strong enough to return to the game. Gronkowski is seemingly doing what he can to heal is back by not putting weight on it, which is also telling of how strenuous of injury it was for the former Patriot.
