3 Raiders Who Must Step Up vs. Bills

In this story:
The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to win their second game in a row when they travel to Highmark Stadium take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.
The Bills dropped their first game of the season, and there is nothing more difficult than facing a talented team looking to avoid a second consecutive loss.
Because of this, the Raiders will need to be at their best if they want to beat one of the best teams in the NFL.
They will need a few players to step up and contribute on Sunday as well, so let’s take a closer look at who those Raiders players are.
Cornerback Marcus Peters -- Peters’ Raiders debut was solid, but left some things to be desired.
According to Pro Football Focus, Peters was targeted five times in coverage and allowed four receptions for 42 yards. He also committed an illegal contact penalty that negated a turnover.
Peters will match up with Bills' star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, one of the best receivers in the NFL. Peters will have to be up for the challenge, as limiting Diggs’ production is much easier said than done. The Raiders will be relying on Peters to slow down the Bills’ dangerous passing attack, including Diggs.
Wide Receiver Hunter Renfrow -- Renfrow played sparingly in Week 1, and the Raiders will need more from him if they want to beat the Bills on the road.
Renfrow played only 10 snaps and did not have a single target. With Jakobi Meyers in concussion protocol, the Raiders will need Renfrow to fill his production, whether that be in the slot or on the outside.
The Raiders are facing an incredibly talented Bills secondary, and while wide receiver Davante Adams will draw lots of attention, Renfrow has the chance to earn more targets. The Raiders will need to have success through the air, and that includes Renfrow.
Safety Marcus Epps -- With the looming matchup of Diggs, Gabe Davis and the rest of the Bills’ passing attack, Epps must have this Raiders secondary playing at a high level.
Epps was in coverage when wide receiver Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos caught a touchdown pass last Sunday. He will need to be on his game in coverage against the Bills, or quarterback Josh Allen and his receivers will take advantage.
Epps will also need to help the young defensive backs when facing the Bills' veteran receivers. His vocal leadership and performance on the field will be crucial for a Raiders victory.
The Silver and Black remain on the road this week as they travel to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
