Battle Between Receivers as the Raiders Play the Bills

The Las Vegas Raiders continue to prepare as they take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. Yesterday, the team practiced at the Greenbriar Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

The Raiders play the Bills this Sunday for the first time since the 2020 NFL regular season. They have not beaten the Bills since the 2016 season or the Bills in Buffalo since the 2002 NFL regular season.

However, the Raiders lead the all-time series against the Buffalo Bills 21-19 and look to extend the series with a win on Sunday.

This match-up between the Raiders and Bills will have two of the best wide receivers in the NFL facing off against each other—a matchup between Raiders' Davante Adams and Buffalo Bills Stefon Diggs.

These receivers have led the league in receptions since the 2020 season. Diggs has 348 receptions, while Adams has 344 receptions.

According to Statmuse.com, Bills wide receiver Diggs has 11 catches for 176 yards in three career games against the Silver and Black. This Sunday will be Diggs's fourth time playing the Raiders.

Diggs has 713 catches for 8,914 yards in his career and has scored 60 touchdowns in 120 games.

On the other side, Raiders wide receiver Adams has nine catches for 87 yards in two career games against the Bills. This Sunday will be Adams's third time playing the Bills.

Adams has 775 catches for 9,703 yards and has scored 87 touchdowns in 134 games in his career.

Last week, Bills wide receiver Diggs had an overall proficient Week 1 performance against the New York Jets. He finished the game with 10 receptions for 102 yards and scored the Bills' only touchdown.

Adams finished Week 1 against the Broncos with six receptions for a total of 66 yards.

Both of these star wide receivers will be worth watching as they face off against each other this Sunday as the Raiders take on the Bills.

The Silver and Black remain on the road this week as they travel to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
