The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent defensive end Kasim Edebali, the team announced on Wednesday.

The Raiders also announced the signing of offensive lineman Kyle Kalis to their practice squad.

The 6-2, 253-pound Edebali has played five seasons in the NFL, most recently with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018.

Edebali, a native of Hamburg, Germany, signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent out of Boston College in 2014. He spent three seasons with the Saints before moving on to the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions in 2017, before signing with the Bengals.

During his NFL career, Edebali has made two starts in 62 games played, collecting 49 tackles (36 solo), eight sacks, three passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He had five sacks with the Saints 2016.

At Boston College, he played in 49 games and was credited with 166 tackles (88 solo), 11 sacks, 15 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

The 6-4, 306-pound Kalis signed as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan with the Washington Redskins in 2017. He was claimed on waivers by the Indianapolis Colts that season and played in four games last year with the Cleveland Browns.
