The Baltimore Ravens and head coach John Harbaugh announced additions to the coaching staff on Monday as four new coaches will enter the fold in Charm City for 2024.

Mark LeLeone was hired as the inside linebackers coach, Dennis Johnson will take over the defensive line, Doug Mallory will coach the defensive backs, and Travelle Wharton was hired as an assistant offensive line coach.

Harbaugh and new defensive coordinator Zach Orr had to fill the three spots on the defensive staff after Anthony Weaver left to become the defensive coordinator in Miami, Dennard Wilson left to take over the defensive coordinator job in Tennessee, and Mike Devlin moved on to the Los Angeles Chargers organization.

DeLeone has 17 years of coaching experience in college and the NFL, most recently as a defensive analyst with the Kansas Jayhawks. He's also spent time with the Lions, Bears, Cheifs and Jets.

"Mark comes from a true football family and understands the importance of building strong relationships with players," Harbaugh stated. "Throughout his career, he has proven to successfully help young linebackers become premier NFL defenders, as evidenced by his history and relationship with Roquan Smith in Chicago. We're excited for the contributions Mark will bring to such an esteemed position in our franchise's history."

Johnson has spent the last 12 years in the college ranks, most recently with the Baylor Bears, and before that at LSU and Northwestern State.

"Dennis has a tremendous track record of developing defenders at the collegiate level, and his units' high energy and consistent technique have always stood out," Harbaugh stated. "As both a player and coach, he has helped his teams perform at championship levels. We believe his passion, insight and expertise make him a great addition to our coaching staff."

Mallory is a well-respected coaching veteran who has 30 years of experience. He was most recently part of the Michigan Wolverines' national champion defensive staff. Prior to that, he spent time with the Falcons, Indiana, New. Mexico, LSU, Oklahoma State, Maryland and Western Kentucky - where he worked as an assistant on Jack Harbaugh's staff.

"Doug has made an impact at every level of his extensive coaching career," Harbaugh stated. "He's helped elevate many players and schemes to new heights. Working alongside Chris Hewitt, our defensive backs will benefit greatly from Doug's wealth of knowledge and experience, which are matched by his abilities to communicate, relate and teach."

Wharton comes to Baltimore from Washington, where he served as an offensive line coach for the past six seasons. Before that, he spent time with Carolina, where he spent nine seasons as a player.

"Travelle is able to connect with today's players from a unique perspective of having played in the modern game," Harbaugh stated. "Beyond that intangible, his intelligence and detail-oriented approach have built fundamentally sound habits across every offensive line he's worked with. Travelle is a great complement to Joe D'Alessandris, and we're excited for the impact he'll make on our unit."
