The Ravens made their biggest statement of the season on Sunday with a 56-19 win over AFC rival Miami - and maybe a statement on the MVP-worthiness of quarterback Lamar Jackson. But one piece of the team was missing from the win.

When All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews went down with an ankle injury that would sideline him for the rest of the regular season, Baltimore Ravens second-year tight end Isaiah Likely knew it was his chance...and he's grabbed it with both hands.

Since stepping up for Andrews, Likely has had no less than 40 receiving yards in each game, and that trend looks "likely" to continue as in the first half against the Miami Dolphins, the tight end's yards after the catch ability was on show.

Likely hauled in a pass from Lamar Jackson on a 4th and 7, with one hand mind you, and used his speed to race away for a 35-yard touchdown.

It now marks a touchdown grab in three of his last four games as Likely is proving to be a more than valuable piece of Todd Monken's offense.

But if you thought Likely's day wouldn't get better, you'd be wrong.

On the Ravens' opening possession of the second half, Justice Hill produced a superb punt return to give his team great field position, and Likely was on the end of a seven-yard pass from Jackson for his second touchdown of the game.

Likely is finally getting an extended look at the team and he is making sure he takes his opportunity with both hands as he has played a starring role against the Dolphins.

Likely has 249 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games, and with his total against Miami to add onto that, Baltimore has a potential star in the making at tight end.

It remains to be seen how Likely is used by Monken when/if Andrews returns, but right now, the second-year tight end is in a rich vein of form.
