Ravens Restructure Odell Beckham Jr.'s Contract: Is a Return in 2024 Likely?

In this story:
Odell Beckham Jr.'s season may not have gone exactly as he would have liked with the Baltimore Ravens. That doesn't mean he isn't open to coming back, though.
In a year with OBJ caught just 35 passes for 565 yards and three scores, he's more than willing to try and open up some room for Baltimore to remain competitive after leading the league in wins during the 2023 season.
Baltimore and OBJ agreed on a contract restructure according to Ravens Salary Cap on Twitter that removed the void years from the one-year, $18 million deal he signed back in April of 2023.
The removal of the void years, according to Ravens Salary Cap, allows for Baltimore to add some cap relief to the 2024 offseason, while pushing off his guaranteed money due date to March 14th.
This will allow the two sides to negotiate a new deal should they so choose.
While he hasn't recorded a 1,000-yard season since 2019, Beckham's veteran leadership has been key to the development of young wide receivers like Zay Flowers. There will be an incentive for both sides to stay together once the 2024 offseason begins.

As Baltimore prepares for a playoff push as the AFC's top seed, they can also know that they will have room to keep most of the roster intact for the foreseeable future as well.
