Ravens Power Rankings: Receivers Help Baltimore Move Up?
The Baltimore Ravens (1-0) are eyeing a 2-0 start to the season when they travel to visit the Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) on Sunday.
If the Ravens want to beat their division rival on the road, they will have to utilize their new receivers and offensive structure. Last week, even with 25 points on the board, the Ravens failed to score on a passing touchdown. However, the evolution to the new offense became clear.
The new offense sparks a lot of optimism in Baltimore and it has the Ravens at No. 9 in Sports Illustrated's latest power rankings.

"Silly that we still even have to mention this but, what do you know? Lamar Jackson looks pretty good in a receiver-heavy Ravens offense," SI writes. "The snap counts from Sunday don’t lie: Baltimore’s third and fourth wide receivers out-snapped its second tight end. Will this continue when Mark Andrews comes back? We don’t know. What we do know is that Jackson looked great establishing a quick game and then working defenders high and low. Zay Flowers is going to be a star."
Adding Andrews back to the offense will only help the Ravens grow. Andrews didn't play last week with a quad injury but is listed as questionable against the Bengals.
Giving Jackson as many weapons as possible to throw to while also being able to change the game with his legs is a combination that could keep the Ravens among the NFL's best for the rest of the season.
The Ravens and Bengals kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday in Cincinnati.
