Drew Brees Injury Update: We're Talkin' Bout Practice! Right?

Drew Brees is planning to practice with the team this week as they prepare for a visit from Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.

Drew Brees will practice this week.  In the back of my mind, I can hear Allen Iverson say, “We’re talkin’ bout practice.  Practice.”  But, if you know the intensity and passion of Drew Brees, the reality is “Practice” could become actual game preparation for the future Hall of Famer.  The Saints dominated the Chicago Bears and will face the Arizona Cardinals in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday afternoon.  Questions of Brees' return to action began to circulate after Fox Sports' Analyst, Troy Aikman, alluded to a possibility of Drew Brees returning to face the Cardinals during the Saints-Bears game.

Brees told sports reporter, Mike Nabors in an interview after the Saints dominating win over the Bears:

"I plan to practice this week and see how things look. I want to get out there as quickly as I can"
