Breaking Saints News: Dan Arnold Promoted and Signed to Active Squad ahead of Bears Game

The New Orleans Saints have announced that the team promoted TE Dan Arnold from their practice squad to the active roster ahead of the Bears game on Sunday. The team waived TE Brian Parker to make room for Arnold.
Dan Arnold caught 12 passes for 150 yards and 1 TD in 10 game appearances for the New Orleans Saints in the 2018-2019 season. He was an undrafted free agent that showed athletic abilities in the passing game, but dropped a few passes at critical moments. One of those notable moments was when he dropped a touchdown pass from Drew Brees in the NFC Championship game in January.
They released Arnold after training camp and signed him to the practice squad for 2019. TE Jared Cook is out for the Bears game at for the Saints. The Saints’ decision to promote Arnold and release Parker is a positive sign he may resume his career with the team’s active squad.
