Cincinnati Mayor Makes Another (Better) Joke About Bengals Playing Chiefs

PITTSBURGH -- The 2023 NFL schedule is slowly being released, with their international games, and some primetime events being announced a day early. Within the primetime slots is a matchup between the last two AFC Championships in the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincy made sure to right a wrong before bad karma got the best of them.
The Bengals and Chiefs will kick off Week 17 on New Year's Eve in a late-season showdown between the AFC's top contenders. Last year, before the AFC Championship game, the mayor of Cincinnati, Aftab Pureval, left a bad taste in the Chiefs' mouths when he said Joe Burrow was the father of Kansas City.
This time, he made sure to keep his remarks short.

Hopefully, this one does add fuel to the fire for the Chiefs. Well, for the Pittsburgh Steelers, they're hoping it does add to the reserves, especially if that Week 17 game has any decision on the AFC North race.
Either way, welcome to the new schedule release videos. They seem to only get better each year.
