In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers moved up three spots to grab "their guy" at 14 in Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones. The former Bulldog comes to the Steelers after meeting with them at the NFL Combine, Georgia's Pro Day and a pre-draft visit, and is the newest addition to a young and developing offense.

Jones joins offensive additions from the last three NFL Drafts in quarterback Kenny Pickett, running back Najee Harris and wide receiver George Pickens - his former Georgia teammate.

While Pickens is already his "guy," after spending two seasons together at Georgia, Jones doesn't know much about his new QB and running back. Well, outside of the important stuff.

"Kenny’s a dawg. Najee’s a dawg. That’s all Pittsburgh is. They breed dawgs," Jones said during a conference call following the pick.

The Steelers believe they found a player who can come in and play right away, while also carrying huge upside down the line.

"He's an extremely talented guy," Tomlin said after the pick. "We were excited about him, really every step of the process."

"He's got big-time upside, but I would also say he's a very good upside, right now," Tomlin continued. "He's got a competitors mentality. He's wired right for this line of work. He's got a desire to be great. He's highly competitive."

For Jones, he's just ready to give Pittsburgh his best ball.

"I just can’t wait to get to Pittsburgh and start that journey, you know? It’s a whole new journey," Jones said. "I can't wait to start that process over. I can’t wait to keep growing and hit the peak of my growth because I’m not done yet. I’m not near as close to being to the end goal so I’m ready to get back to work and perfect my craft."

The Steelers will open up competition at left tackle between Jones and Dan Moore Jr. this summer. In the meantime, he'll get to know his new teammates. Two of which he's got down pretty well.
