The Houston Texans' offseason is in full swing.

With the NFL draft inching closer, coach DeMeco Ryans and his staff are asking the big question regarding the team ahead of next season:

What can be done to improve the roster as it stands?

One of the Texans' answers may have come over the weekend when they signed former Titans receiver Robert Woods.

With the possibility of trading veteran receiver Brandin Cooks continuing to develop, another popular name made waves in the NFL Friday, when ex-Vikings receiver Adam Thielen was released.

Thielen was among two other Vikings veterans to be released, as the team also released linebacker Eric Kendricks and cornerback Cam Dantzler.

His release marked the end of a ten-season tenure in Minnesota, where he tallied over 6,000 receiving yards and 50 touchdowns, and earned two Pro Bowl selections.

And for a team that will likely be starting a young quarterback next season, a veteran like Thielen could be a significant help.

Thielen has already garnered attention from teams league-wide — most recently the Philadelphia Eagles, whose veteran cornerback Darius Slay took his shot at recruiting the former Viking on his podcast.

So if Houston wants Thielen, it will have some work to do.

But with Woods already signed and ready for next season, and young talented wideouts like Nico Collins and John Metchie ready to break out, the Texans will be in a much better spot in the room in 2023 regardless.
