NASHVILLE - On Thursday, we received the new remaining cap space figures for the Tennessee Titans and various other teams across the league, and the news, at least for the Titans isn't exactly great.

Yes, the Titans still have money to spend, but according to a tweet by Field Yates, there is just $7,152,103 remaining in available funds for free agents. That figure is far short of what is likely needed to finish rebuilding this roster with enough talent to be competitive next season.

As we shared in our article,  Titans Fans Brace For Impact Of Potential Moves, this new cap information solidifies that the franchise will likely be forced to make some moves neither they nor their fans want to see come to fruition.

Not only do the Titans need additional help in free agency, but the push to resign Jeffrey Simmons faces them.

At this point, it's anyone's guess as to what moves the team can make to get the necessary cash they need. Moves like restructuring and extending Ryan Tannehill is one possibility.

They could trade either Derrick Henry or Kevin Byard, or both, as recently rumored, which could also be the case with Denico Autry.

From a fan's perspective, the first move should be made at the expense of Tannehill, who many fans no longer believe can win games for this team.

While Tannehill has the most significant contract and the most room for gain, where will the team turn for a starting quarterback in 2023?

It seems obvious to everyone who watched last season that Malik Willis, while talented, is not yet ready to assume the starting role for a season.

Last year's late-season hero Josh Dobbs has signed with Cleveland, and other remaining market of veteran quarterbacks is less than exciting.

The bottom line here is that something must happen, and it's likely to happen sooner rather than later, and it's going to come at a heavy price for fans and the Titans unless someone can come up with a way to restock this roster for $7,152,103.
