Titans have nothing but respect for Frank Gore

They also hope they have the gameplan to stop the NFL's fourth all-time leading rusher

Frank Gore has done nothing for the Buffalo Bills this season that he hadn’t already done throughout his first 14 NFL seasons.

The Tennessee Titans don’t want to see it again Sunday when they face the Bills at Nissan Stadium.

“It’s up to us as a defensive team and [me] as a guy up front to make sure we don’t let somebody that old still look that good,” defensive tackle Jurrell Casey said. “But Frank Gore, he’s a hell of player. I respect him from when I used to play him [when he was] with the Colts [2015-17]. He did the same thing back then that he’s doing now. The biggest thing is making sure he ain’t doing it this week.”

The 36-year-old running back leads the Bills with and is 11 in the NFL with 273 rushing yards. His yards-per-carry average (4.5) is right in line with his career average (4.4) and his 109-yard performance last Sunday against New England gave was the 45 time he rushed for 100 yards or more.

He is the fourth player in NFL history to surpass 15,000 career rushing yards and enters Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans with 15,021.

“I love his game. A true Hall of Famer,” Titans running back Derrick Henry said. “… He’s played a long time. He’s played good football for a long time as well.”

Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees also addressed Gore’s longevity and productivity when he met with the media Thursday. Hear what Pees had to say in the above video.
