Zach Ertz is calling his contract negotiations with the Eagles as "difficult" while his fellow teammate Jason Peters has reworked a deal with Philadelphia worth up to $8 million.
The Eagles tight end has spent 7 seasons with Philadelphia and reportedly wants to stay long term but he’s not sure that feeling is mutual. This news comes on the same day Peters got a pay raise. Peters rejoined the Eagles earlier this year and was hoping for a pay raise to reflect the move from right guard to left tackle and he got it. So where does Ertz stand when it comes to longevity with the Eagles?
