Kirk Cousins can't stop catching strays this month.

First it was the Madden 24 trailer, in which the Vikings' quarterback was basically used as a punching bag. Now Cousins is getting randomly called out by a veteran defensive foe.

Saints pass rusher Cam Jordan, speaking to fellow NFL players at Von Miller's pass rush summit, took a shot at Cousins' decision-making speed by using him as an example.

"In this game, like everybody knows, a fast wrong decision could be a right decision," Jordan said. "And a fast right decision, you're a winner. And a slow right decision, get yo ass on the bench cause there's somebody out here that's gon' be moving at a different speed. Slow right decisions, we love 'em. Call 'em Kirk Cousins."

Jordan isn't necessarily wrong about Cousins not being a super quick-twitch quarterback, but it still feels a bit disrespectful to call out a veteran player like that, eliciting laughter from a group of younger players. Oh well. Like with the Madden thing, it's nothing Cousins isn't used to at this point.

Interestingly, Cousins has carved up the Saints since becoming a starter. In six career starts against New Orleans, he's thrown for 1,811 yards (302 per game) and 14 touchdowns with just two interceptions. He was sacked 16 times in those games, with 3.5 of those coming from Jordan. Cousins' teams are 3-3 against the Saints in his starts, but that includes a 1-0 playoff record.

According to Next Gen Stats, Cousins ranked 24th out of 40 quarterbacks last season in average time to throw.
