As Peyton Manning prepares to return to the NFL in 2012, there are a number of insiders expressing skepticism about whether the former Indianpolis Colts quarterback still has the same physical abilities he once did. But Brandon Stokley, a former teammate of Manning's in Indianapolis, is not among those skeptics.
"I saw him for three days at Duke," Stokley told the Denver Post. "He threw a ton of balls for three straight practices, and the guy looked to me like he did when I was there six years ago."
Stokley played with Manning on the Colts for four seasons, between 2003 and '06. He also played for three seasons post-Indy on the Denver Broncos, who are now looking to sign Manning.
