Redskins Release Safety Oshiomogho Atogwe
The Washington Redskins have released free-safety Oshiomogho Atogwe, just one year after signing him, according to the Washington Post.
The Redskins signed Atogwe to a five-year, $26 million deal prior to the 2011 season, however injuries to his limited him over the course of the season.
In 13 games for Washington, Atogwe tallied 60 tackles, three interceptions, and half a sack.
He was owed $3.4 million this season in base salary.
