After a disappointing first season from Kevin Boss, the Oakland Raiders are cutting ties with the tight end, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter:

Boss signed a four-year, $16 million deal with the Raiders last summer, but he was underwhelming in his first year in silver and black. Boss missed three games with various injuries and finished the season with 28 catches for 368 yards and three touchdowns, all career lows except for his abbreviated 2007 rookie season.
