Seahawks Release OT Jarriel King After Sexual Assault Arrest

Monday March 19th, 2012

The Seattle Seahawks released offensive tackle Jarriel King after he was reportedly arrested for sexual assault in February, according to the Seattle Times.

According to the police report filed by the victim, King and former USC football player Arthur Denson-Holmes allegedly had forcible sex with the intoxicated 25-year-old woman after returning home from a nightclub. Last year as an undrafted free agent, King signed $1.9 million three-year deal with the New York Giants. He was then claimed off waivers by Seattle before the start of the 2011 season. He only appeared in one game for the Seahawks.
