New York Jets defensive back Antonio Cromartie clarified a tweet he made last week before the Jets acquired quarterback Tim Tebow. Cromartie said that the Jets "[didn't] need Tebow."

"We don't need Tebow. We sell out every home game let him go to Jacksonville Tampa or Miami. Our wildcat offense can b ran by (Jeremy) Kerley or Joe McKnight we straight," Cromartie tweeted, according to ESPN.com.

Cromartie changed his tune Friday, when he told the New York Daily News that Tebow could "spark" the offense.
