Report: Nike Sues Reebok For Selling Unauthorized Tim Tebow Jerseys

Nike has sued Reebok over the selling of New York Jets Tim Tebow jerseys, according to ProFootballTalk.

“We have filed a complaint relating to unauthorized use of Tim Tebow’s name on New York Jets related apparel,” Nike said in a statement.  “Nike is authorized and licensed to use Tim Tebow’s name on products.  We have no further comment at this stage.”

Although Nike will not put out their NFL apparel until next week, Reebok’s NFLPA license to place player names on Reebok jerseys expired last week, prior to the trade that sent Tebow to the Jets.
