Report: Terrell Owens 'Definitely' Wants To Return To NFL

Terrell Owens is still in professional football -- kind of. The outspoken wide receiver is currently slumming it with the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, but he declared in a SiriusXM NFL Radio interview this week that he's still eyeing a return to the NFL.

"Definitely, that is the plan," Owens said, according to CSN Chicago. "I'm keeping myself in shape. I’m sure everyone knows I’m playing in the Indoor Football League with the Allen Wranglers. We’re 5-1 right now, and I’m having fun. I’m using it as a way to keep myself in shape to play a few more years.”

Owens, 38, did not play in the NFL last season. His last stint in the league was with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, when he had 72 catches for 983 yards.

T.O. underwent surgery in April 2011 to repair a torn ACL; he was medically cleared to play the following season but was never signed.
