Rashard Mendenhall Moves Forward With Lawsuit Against Champion

Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Rashard Mendenhall, will move forward with his lawsuit against athletic apparel company, Champion, according to ProfootballTalk.

The lawsuit was initiated as a result of Champion dropping Mendenhall from endorsing their brand due to differing views on politics and world issues. Champion argued that the partnership was no longer conducive for the brand and felt as though Mendenhall no longer aligned with the brands mission or ideals.

Mendenhall’s goal is to be paid for the amount that was originally offered to him in the endorsement deal. He is not looking to further his partnership with Champion.
