Chargers Garrett Brown hit with four-game suspension

The NFL suspended San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Garrett Brown four games without pay for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances, Profootballtalk.com reports.

Brown can continue to play in the preseason, and it is not sure if Brown will even make the Chargers’ final 53-man roster. If he does or makes any NFL team, he will be eligible to become active on October 1.
