Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gave the New York Giants some bulletin board material earlier this month when he encouraged fans to come watch the Cowboys "beat the Giants' ass."

Less than a week before the teams open the 2012 season on national television,  Giants linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka has fired back, saying Jones and the Cowboys are jealous of the Giants' Super Bowl success.

Kiwanuka, appearing on WFAN’s Boomer and Carton, said Jones is tired of losing to the Giants.

"He should. I mean, the Giants have been whupping his ass for a long time."

"It's gotta be tough on the outside looking in on all of these championships lately," Kiwanuka continued. "That's the feeling I feel like everybody in the league has and everybody should have because we're here on top and everybody should be wanting to knock you off."

Mike Garafalo of the Newark Star-Ledger reported Kiwanuka gave his best opinion of what Jones meant when saying he wanted the Cowboys to hit "some glory hole" at the opening of training camp.

Kiwanuka seemed to have never heard the term, which Wikipedia says is "an excavation into the sea floor designed to protect the wellhead equipment installed at the surface of a petroleum well from icebergs or pack ice." "Oh, so he's been digging the last couple of years is what he's saying," Kiwanuka said.
