The Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls are having exploratory talks to send forward Luol Deng to the Wizards in exchange for the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, ESPN's Marc Stein reports. According to Stein, the most likely deal would send Wizards center Emeka Okafor and the third overall pick in Thursday's draft to the Bulls for all-star swingman Luol Deng.

Deng, who is set to make $14.2 million next season, missed most of the playoffs due to complications from a spinal tap. He is expected to make a full recovery. Deng scored 16.5 points-per-game with 6.3 rebounds and three assists per contest this season for the Bulls. Deng has averaged 16 points-per-game during his eight-year career with the Chicago Bulls.

Stein reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers also have interest in acquiring Deng's services.
