Middle linebacker Brandon Spikes has agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills worth $3.25 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It was reported on Friday morning that middle linebacker Kiko Alonso would be moving to the outside, and Spikes was brought in to discuss signing with the team and filling the vacated spot a few hours later, according to ProFootballTalk.com's Darin Gantt.

Spikes played for the New England Patriots for each of his previous four years in the league, appearing in all 16 regular season games in 2013 and recording 48 tackles and an interception.
