The top-scoring weekly running back has reached at least 30 points five times this season. The only times the position fell short was in Week 2 (DeAngelo Williams, 27.2 points) and Week 6 (Devonta Freeman, 27.6 points). If our Week 8 rankings prove true, that means Adrian Peterson owners will be very happy by about 4 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon. Few players have dominated their divisional competition the way Peterson has in his career. In 12 career games against the Vikings’ opponent this week, the Bears, Peterson has 1,396 yards and 14 touchdowns. In other words, we’re not exactly splitting the atom by making him our top running back for Week 8.
Who joins Peterson atop their respective positions? Who warrants flex consideration? Who should you keep on your bench? Find out in our Week 8 positional rankings.
