Strike Zone podcast: Posey on Giants; talking Rangers-Jays brawl

On this week's edition of The Strike Zone podcast, Ted and Steve chat with Giants catcher Buster Posey and also break down last Sunday's huge Rangers-Jays brawl.

It's a jam-packed episode of The Strike Zone podcast this week, as Ted and Steve dive into the huge Rangers-Blue Jays brawl, the Red Sox' hot start and a host of other big baseball topics—but not before a special guest calls in for a quick chat.

Before Ted and Steve get into the week's news, three-time World Series champion Buster Posey calls in to talk about the Giants' season so far, his approach at the plate in an era of high strikeouts, his work with his pitching staff, and his new campaign of commercials for Esurance. After that, Ted and Steve get into last Sunday's big fight between Rougned Odor and Jose Bautista, and whether MLB's punishments for the brawl were too lenient or too strict. From there, the two discuss whether or not the Red Sox can turn their strong start into a return to contention and if Boston is the most exciting team in the game right now, before wrapping up by sharing stories of Reggie Jackson, who turned 70 on Wednesday, and debating which current MLB player is most like Mr. October.
